Independent Venue Roadshow - The Lowry Hotel

It’s a great opportunity to have one to one meetings with event organisers throughout the year at three different events across the country and continue building those all important relationships during the networking dinner and drinks.

You will have 60 appointments over 3 events throughout the year as a member of the roadshow. That’s an average of 20 appointments per event. Appointments are with individuals. You might meet three people from one agency but they are all looking for different things from their venues for their clients.

Agencies such as Ashfield, Trinity or Conference Care as well as smaller outfits such as Cloud 9, KDM or Hospitality Guaranteed. We cannot guarantee who you will see, that will depend on individual availability, but we can assure you we strive for the very best quality buyers to attend our events.

Not at all but we do recommend it. The ten-minute one-to-one appointments are heavy going, you are chatting with around 20 people and they are learning about 15 venues, it’s makes sense to have a less formal chat over dinner and drinks to remind them of who you are, what you have to offer, without the pressure of the appointments.

We strive to get the best possible rates for our exhibitors to stay at the host venue. We often have around 20 buyers staying and again this gives you the chance to relax, or possibly arrange a breakfast meeting for a final goodbye and leave that lasting impression. We appreciate you can’t always stay over, but we encourage you to make the most of your time at each event. Why not book other appointments in the area to make your time out of the office absolutely worthwhile!

We recommend that you try to send another member of your team if you can’t make it. If it’s really not possible you will still receive the info of the attendees to make contact – they will know you were unable to make it and expect your call. These will still count towards your appointment total.

We provide a directory of your information for the buyers to take away, and you get their details too.
We provide a mini pop up for your table with your logo on, so no need to transport bulky huge pop up stands. All you need to bring is anything you wish to give away and your laptop or tablet to show off your fabulous venue!
We promote you throughout your time in the 12 month programme. You provide us with 5 key facts and other requested information that we use to promote our event and your attendance via our social channels. You are also listed on the CHS Events website, which buyers can use to search for venues.
