Independent Venue Show 2017

It’s a great low cost opportunity to meet 100+ event organisers from across the UK that book regionally and nationally, and continue building those all important relationships during the after show party.

We recommend that the person who is most likely to be able to help buyers out with their questions should attend. At a shorter event, buyers may actually come along with enquiries and you could lose out to your neighbour if you are unable to answer their queries or negotiate rates etc with them.

We’re sorry, but IVS is aimed at matching independent venues with people who organise events and as such suppliers are unable to attend. So if you are a Venue why not exhibit! It’s a great low cost way to meet some great buyers. AV companies, a marquee company, music, food, entertainment or anyone else that is a supplier rather than a venue booker, please check out our flagship event The Conference & Hospitality Show as that might be just the ticket for you!

We prefer one person per venue/stand but can allow two. Remember it’s only a short, very targeted event. We want the buyers to feel they can approach and learn without being over crowded!

We target event organisers from across the UK to attend. They could be large agencies, smaller independent agents, PAs, corporate event bookers and even event organisers from associations. A majority of them will book venues across the country, wherever they may be located.

Not at all but we do recommend it. The event is only a couple of hours and buyers will be wandering around deciding who to talk to – you might miss each other. The party is a great way to find those you spotted but didn’t chat with, or maybe arrange to have a drink with someone at the party to cement that new relationship. Besides, you might as well eat before you head home!

We provide a directory of your information for the buyers to take away and there are a number of additional marketing activities available at low cost to enhance your presence at the show. We provide a ‘bus stop’ graphic panel and a poseur table, so no need to transport bulky huge pop up stands. All you need to bring is anything you wish to give away and your laptop or tablet to show off your fabulous venue!
We promote you throughout the lead up to IVS on our social channels. You are also listed on the CHS Group website, which buyers can use to search for venues
