For a small, intimate meeting with up to 8 delegates, take a look at the Mercury Room, situated within the multi award winning, inspirational Blackburn Wing. For an informal meeting for up to 20 delegates, the light and airy Potting shed is perfect, whilst up to 30 delegates can be comfortably accommodated in the formal splendour of the Morning Room. For larger numbers, the Georgian splendour of the light and airy Bowcliffe Room with its period features and beautiful views make it a beautiful backdrop for meetings for up to 80 delegates, whilst the inspirational, multi award winning Blackburn Wing conference centre can accommodate up to 60 delegates for a meeting. Designed in the shape of an aeroplane wing and clad in copper with floor to ceiling windows that look out to views through trees to parkland, the Blackburn Wing was designed to honour Bowcliffe Hall’s past owner, aviation pioneer Robert Blackburn, and is intended to inspire the creative and innovative thinking that allowed him to push the boundaries of aviation. The Ballroom is a spectacular and breathtaking events space that has been fully renovated and restored from its original start in life as the Drawing Room of Bowcliffe Hall. The Ballroom can accommodate up to 135 guests theatre style, up to 80 guests for formal dining and 100 for a drinks reception. The glamorous Drivers’ Club is available to hire exclusively in the evenings or at weekends and offers relaxed and sumptuous surroundings with décor inspired by the glamorous 1920s and the Golden Age of Motoring for up to 40 seated guests. Within the Drivers’ Club, the intimate Briefing Room is also available to hire in the evenings or at weekends and is ideal for up to 18 seated delegates. The beautifully maintained grounds at Bowcliffe offer flexibility for larger numbers requiring a marquee.
